硬质角膜接触镜亲水改性及性能表征研究

摘要: 硬质透气性角膜接触镜(RGP)因其高透氧性和安全性在视力矫正和特定眼科疾病治疗中发挥重要作用,但其材料的疏水性导致的眼部不适限制了其广泛应用。本研究采用亲水单体N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺(DMA)和N-乙烯吡咯烷酮(NVP)对RGP材料进行亲水改性。结果表明,当DMA添加量为9%、NVP添加量为13%时,材料接触角从100°分别降低至83°和85°,硬度从78 HD提升至85 HD,透光率高于95%,透氧值分别为215 barrers和192 barrers。进一步的生物相容性测试显示,DMA-9和NVP-13的萃取率低于2%,细胞存活率高于95%,表现出良好的生物相容性。研究证明了利用亲水性单体共聚对RGP材料进行亲水改性的可行性。

Hydrophilic Modification and Performance Characterization of Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses Based on Copolymerization Method

Abstract: Rigid gas permeable contact lenses (RGP) play an important role in vision correction and the treatment of specific ophthalmic diseases due to their high oxygen permeability and safety. However, the hydrophobicity of the RGP material itself, which leads to a range of ocular discomfort, has limited the widespread use of RGP. In this study, the hydrophilic monomers DMA and NVP copolymerization were used to hydrophilically modify RGP materials. The addition of 9% DMA and 13% NVP could effectively reduce the contact angle from 100° to about 83° and 85°, respectively, increase the hardness from 78 HD to 85 HD, and the light transmittance was higher than 95%. The oxygen transmittance of DMA-9 was 215 barrers, and that of NVP-13 was 192 barrers. Further evaluation in terms of extraction rate and in vitro cytotoxicity confirmed that DMA-9 and NVP-13 were biocompatible with RGP. The feasibility of hydrophilic modification of RGP materials using hydrophilic monomer copolymerization was demonstrated.
